Reete is a visual artist and illustrator originally from Estonia, currently based in Dublin, Ireland. Working primarily with traditional media such as graphite, ink and watercolour, her art is rooted in detailed observation, narrative illustration, and high engagement with places, social context and awareness. With years of experience creating art together with a background in animation studies and formal training in illustration at Ballyfermot College, Reete’s work sits at the intersection of fine art and illustration, where careful craftmanship meets conceptual inquiry. Depicting mainly animals, people, nature, and architecture, Reete’s art seeks to capture the essence of existence in all its complexities. She aims to evoke a deep emotional response, believing in art’s unique ability to connect and educate people.

Central to her work is an interest in storytelling through detail, atmosphere and subtle suggestions.
